MMMMMMM...........Yoga

As I gain more confidence in my teaching abilities, I find myself wanting to branch out and reach more people. Trying to maintain a balance between work, raising my children, my own practice and persuing various other interests, I can only teach so many classes per week (currently 10) before I get too exhausted. A few months ago I found a great website called Yogi Chocolate where teachers can post classes and students can download them on a donation basis. What a great idea!! I bought the necessary devices and started recording my classes to catch the spontaneity and inspiration that arises when I'm with a group of students. I felt that I had captured the essence of my teaching but fear and self-doubt would occasionaly arise so I hesitated in submiting my classes to the site. There are some high profile teachers on there (Rudy Mettia, Bryan Kest) and I didn't know if I was of the same caliber as these experts. What if I wasn't good enough to be accepted? Wat if no one liked my teaching? Once I was able to cast those voices aside and believe that I had something unique and special to offer, I went for it! I am happy to say that I now have 3 classes posted on Yogi Chocolate and plan on adding more in the future. This site is an awesome way to experience new teachers, to keep up with your home practice or to take your yoga with you when you are traveling. It's also a great way for yoga teachers to share their talents with the world as well as generate extra revenue. Check it out for yourself!
